She completed her residency program at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Ind."For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a doctor," Dr. Atwood says. "When I was young, I loved watching the television drama ER with my mom, Mary Atwood, who is a nurse practitioner with Springfield Clinic, and thought their jobs looked really fun."
