Provided by YPmobileI have five pets and it seems like I am always going to the vet or calling for something. I take all my pets to Laketown Animal Hospital. They take wonderful care of us there. I get calls to remind me of my appointments or when medication is ready. I get a copy of the medical record e mail to me after they see the Dr. I can communicate and shop with them online, text, or phone. They always seem to be able to get me in right away or have just what I need. I have also used their kennel facility and grooming services. the quality of service and care is great. They know and talk to my dogs by name. It makes me feel very good to have found a place that treats us like FAMILY. With having five pets I am always looking for cheaper care and supplies on just about everything. I still go there for Service and all my supplies. Between the guarentees and coupons they keep at the counter, they have about the best deals. Once I needed medication for my dog that had to come from a pharmacy. They called five different pharmacies to find the best deal for me. WOW they really go the extra mile. Thank you Laketown staff and Doctors for all you do. We will be seeing you in the future.

Provided by DexKnowsMy cat was not feeling well, not eating, just laying around. I was unable to get her in my regular vet. I called around and Laketown was able to get me in very quickly. She saw Dr. Stanberry. My cat had a huge abcess on the base of her tail. Dr. Stanberry and her Technican (Ben) explained everything they were going to do and what to look out for when she went home. Once the abcess was drained, and the antibotics started my cat was back to her happy self. Laketown Animal hospital is now my choice to take my pets for anything they need.

Provided by DexKnowsI made an appointment to have my 2 cats declawed at the Laketown Animal Hospital. They were so friendly and informative setting up the appointment. I was able to get them in the very next week on a cat only day. The staff called me the day before to go over surgery instructions. I was nervous when we arrived that morning till I met with the surgical technician who was working with Dr. Curry that day. She discussed bloodwork, the surgery, and pain medication with me. She made me feel better about leaving them. They phoned when the girls were in recovery and to let me know they were doing fine. I set up a time for the next day to meet with a technician and take them home. The bill was less than I expected for all the services I received. I am so thankful for everything they provided for my pets and myself. Thanks to Dr. Curry and everyone at Laketown Animal Hospital for caring about my babies as much as I do.

Provided by DexKnowsMy cat was throwing up whole food every day and I took her in. $$220, an inconclusive x-ray I didn't even see (admittedly I should have asked), and a tube of cat lube later, I was on my way being told it was probably an obstruction such as a rubber-band. Gee Thanks, Google told me that much before I went to the office. Unfortunately I switched Vets.

Provided by DexKnowsI take both my animals to Laketown Animal Hospital and have for years. The doctors are great and they have everything I need in one location. The staff is friendly and they always know me by name when I walk in the office. I can feel comfortable leaving my pets with them when I am out of town for business or pleasure. My dog loves to go to Laketown!

Provided by DexKnowsMy experience at Laketown could not be further from some of the things posted about them. I have had GREAT experiences at their clinic. I brought my dogs in for boarding for 1 week over a busy holiday and she got happy tail too. It is unfortunate, but it can happen to any dog owner with a Happy Dog who wags and wags away. It did take some time for her tail to heal, but I do not feel in any way that my dog’s happy tail was a result of negligence from the hospital staff. If anything, my dog was obviously HAPPY enough to get “happy tail” while boarding with them. She loves going into that place for her regular check ups and both my dogs and I have been treated with respect and compassion every time we enter their beautiful building (which always smells good when you walk in by the way for an animal place). I would recommend visiting them for animal services any day !!!

Provided by DexKnowsI took my cat to get declawed for safety reasons for my dog. When I picked him up the next day, he not only had not received any pain medication, he also was returned to me caked with urine and feces all over his body. I did not realize how bad it was until I got home. There only note to me was to give pain meds twice a day. When I called, they claimed they had no knowledge of this and said he was aggressive. They made now means to apologize or fix the situation saying that they did not want to stress him. I guess that fell on my shoulders to attempt to bath him after surgery. I could continue with more details but overall it was gross mal treatment of my cat. We would never withhold care from a human being just because of aggression and furthermore, they should utilize other means (whether light sedation, gloves for handling, etc) to deliver him pain medicine and keep him decent. I will never return to this vet. Awful treatment, awful costumer service!

Provided by DexKnowsMy dog was boarded at Laketown Animal Hospital for 1 week. We noticed that his tail looked like it had been chopped off. The only thing on his report card was how he ate and drank. My mother(who had picked him up that evening)said that no one mentioned it. LAH was now closed. The next morning, we took our dog back to LAH. The secretary said, "Our staff wouldn't have sent him home like that." I presented our dogs undocumented report card. One record at Laketown had noted that blood was found in the kennel. His tail had broken open from banging on the walls. They moved him to a bigger area. There were no further notes of this injury in the next 5 days of boarding. The Dr never apologized and WE HAD TO PAY $17 for each dressing change! It took over a month to heal! The whole situation was very disappointing. As a customer of LAH for 6 years, I thought this would be the best place to board my animal. I expect to be notified if my animal is injured just as I would if it were my child! We
