I would choose Head West over any of the chain subs like Jimmy Johns, Subway, etc. Head West definitely outperforms in taste, quantity for the price. Love it! Unfortunately, not from Springfield so I only get to have their subs on rare occasions :(

A local favorite of mine

Try the Griller with Cheddar on sweet bread. Vegetarian or not, it's fantastic! You get a LOT of food for a very reasonble price at Head West. The employees are always cool people, too.

We split the Pastrami and Provolone and the Chicken Salad/Provolone. Talk about yummy. Enough for lunch and supper. Definitely will return. The sweet bread is fantastic.
