I called Dean Carver as a last resort when I realized that I hadn't booked my nail or hair appts yet for prom, and I got in at the time slot I wanted. When I walked in I was a bit taken aback as every customer was an elderly woman! But Ralph was excited to do my hair, did EXACTLY what I wanted, and I got so many compliments on it. My nails, however, weren't the most fun to get done. The nail lady (name escapes me) let my pedicure bath get cold puttering around. I waited much longer than I needed to while she didn't seem to do anything to get ready for my appointment! The pedicure itself was not relaxing as the chair is just a desk chair and is very uncomfortable, and they did not have hardly any nail colors to chose from! She nicked my cuticle and left my thumbnail badly redone when she messed it up. Not the chicest place to get your hair done but I would certainly recommend Ralph, who will talk to you and find out just what to do with your hair... But nails, NEVER AGAIN!
