My wife was there last week to renew her passport. There was also a lady there who also needed to renew her passport. The lady at the passport counter insisted that she would see ONLY by appointment. My wife, who did not have an appointment, made one for 1 PM today for me as I also needed to renew. So, I took off work, and went there ahead of time. The lady at the counter said there was not need to make an appointment, nor does she do anything for renewals. She asked me to fill out a form and mail it. She also said they don't take photos. I wasted all this time - I could have done all this online, and mailed it after work. Another lady informed me that they do take photos. There is a big SIGN which says you must have an appointment. The first lady at the counter was condescending, and rude. And she has no clue of their own rules.
