thus was by far the worst pediatric I have ever been to me and my daughter waited over an hour to be seen as we watched everyone else get called to the back they are absolutely ridiculous

Dr. Shirley has been my children's Dr for over 2 years now. He has been with my youngest since the day he was born. I can't imagine him being insensitive at all! He has always been kind and very informative. He is the kind of Dr that makes you feel comfortable asking any sort of question. The front staff are very polite and very helpful as well. I have spoken with Dr. Shirley after hours as well and also told to call the next day when the office is open after he evaluated the situation/condition. I have never felt he was rude or didn't care, because he does!



Most insurances have a 24hr nurse hotline and there are many 24hr minor emergency clinics to turn to if you feel your child needs to be seen urgently. You can't compare self knowledge from the internet to an educated professional's opinion. Dr. Shirley gets 5 stars!

Dr. Susan Reed was great, HOWEVER, Dr Shirley is insensitive and even told me to call during normal hours next time because my case was not urgent. My child had a diaper rash that spread to her legs. I had never experienced this before and became concerned, as I had tried several creams and solutions and read several articles. Believe me I did my homework until I didn't know what else to do. He said, "this is not urgent so please try to call during normal hours next time because as a Dr. I do not enjoy normal sleep hours and I like to get some sleep around here," What an insensitive being... I think he should have picked another profession.
