  There is a wide range of chemical peels from very light peels to medium depth which will require you to have some days of feeling tight/dry and peeling can range from slight peeling around the mouth to all over the face for up to a week. More aggressive/very deep chemical peels are performed by the Doctor. Chemical peels are often blends of acids that are used to address and improve many different skin conditions such as fine lines, hyperpigmentation, large pores or congestion in the pores, oiliness or dryness, dull or lackluster skin. A series of treatments is often recommended spaced 4-6 weeks apart but peels can also be done a couple of times of year to improve overall skin health.
