I love this daycare! It brings such a homey feel to my sons preschool experience. He hates leaving when it is time for pick-up! They are very clean, but honestly my favorite part about that is it does not have the overwhelming smell of chemicals when you walk in the door; It smells like Grandma's house. The staff is very caring and professional and I love the fact that they incorporate Spanish into their programs for the Two through Four year old curriculum.

My sister has her son enrolled here, and despite what others may have to say about this facility I say it is a wonderful and caring place! I have seen such an improvement with him ever since Ms. Frances has been working with him. They learn so much and for the price that she is paying, she is getting the most for her money! I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area especially if you are nervous about Kindergarten and want your child to breeze right through Kindergarten. If my daughter were 2 years younger I would be running to the doors to enroll her. Also very family oriented, and clean!

When my daughter was born I had placed her in an in-home center because I felt it would be better than an actual center. Well go to find out they were only feed her about one or two times a day when she would be there for about 7 hours. I was furious and quickly took her out to keep her at home. I began looking for new daycare's around the Spotsylvania area and I came across "Nanny's Playhouse" I toured there back in February and was skeptical about bringing her there, However I am glad I did. My two baby girl is already learning so much with her teacher, she has begun speaking very Spanish, she has learned so much with them and I love all of her artwork she is bringing home! I love how friendly all of the staffing is with her and how they tell you exactly what she is working on in the classrooms and how her day was. I also love being able to check on her throughout the day with their camera systems.I would recommend bringing your child to Nanny's :)

When my daughter was born I had soon placed her in an in home daycare, soon after I had removed her because they were only feeding her about one maybe two times a day. I quickly began searching for a new place to put her that I could trust the staff and make sure they were taking proper care of her. I had toured back in February and was a little skeptical at first for enrolling her; however I am glad I did. The staffing takes amazing care of my baby girl, making sure she is being fed, napping, and developing her skills. I love the fact that she is beginning to learn Spanish speaking skills, and that they have an amazing teacher who posts her curriculum outside the door so I am able to work with her at home. I love how friendly all the staff is, and I also love the fact that I get a discount for being a teacher. I would highly recommend bringing your child to Nanny's.

I do have to agree that the staff as a whole is very unprofessional. The afternoon staff floats from room to room and it is often hard to know who will be with your child. As far as never being in compliance, I would have to agree but most of there violations would not cause harm to the children. The main concern I see as far as violations is not wiping the changing table down after each child. I am mostly pleased with how my child is cared for. It is a relief to be able to check in on the camera. There is so much room for improvement with this center but I wouldn't say it is a bad place.
