I wish they would allow a negative star for every dollar this company has stolen from methat would be a negative 20,000 stars!! Yes, thats right I was a very naive over 50 single woman that this man, Jason Griffin befriended and stole $20,000 from! I met him just about a year ago. He spent a few months showing me flooring and kitchen cabinet options. Jason took a check from me in April for which I was given a receipt and I have every single text message that has transpired since I paid for a complete kitchen and partial bath remodel. It took until June to get any work other than a little drywall done. He supposedly was in a battle with a cabinet company out of Davenport in which my order was screwed up and Jason was going after his bond to get his money back. I had waited 3 months and still no cabinets. I wasnt told this until my kitchen flooring, sink and cabinets were ripped out!! I was able to get flooring laid but then I sat from the first week of June until October with nothing but flooring and my refrigerator until I was given a make shift sink held up by 2x4s and plywood! I had to eat many meals out and thank the lord I do not have family here at the present because it got very expensive! I then was told to go to Bargain Hunt and pick out cabinets and Jason would meet me and pay for them. He met me but without a check. He then sent a partial payment knowing full well they would not order until paid in full. Then he sent not one, but TWO checks that bounced!! He then got a loan to pay for those cabinets that he offered free installation for my trouble by a team of two youngsters that had no cabinet install experience! They tried to do a great job but their lack of experience truly showed! They have left me with a partial install!It was just today that I am finding out that the loan Jason got was actually swindled from an employee that was willing to give up his life savings to temporarily help Jason out, and Jason does not even give him paychecks!
