The Mukogawa Fort Wright Institute, also known as MFWI, maintains a chapel that features a choir loft and wedding bell and can accommodate more than 250 people. Established in 1990, the institute works to improve its students communicative competence in English and maximize their academic and personal development through various educational and residential life programs. The Mukogawa Fort Wright Institute provides venues for weddings, business meetings, seminars, anniversary celebrations, retreats, and birthday and holiday parties. It offers full-scale catering, staging and audiovisual services. The institute also operates the Kusaka Library and Resource Center, which provides a variety of books and reference materials, as well as conducts several conversational activities. The Mukogawa Fort Wright Institute is a part of Mukogawa Women's University (MWU). The Mukogawa Fort Wright Institute is located in Spokane, Wash.
