In operation for more than 30 years, Community Frameworks is a nonprofit organization that offers affordable housing solutions for individuals and families in the northwestern United States. It builds and preserves single-family homes and condominiums for renters and homebuyers. The company operates a division, HomeStarts, which oversees construction processes and provides homebuyer education services for low-income families. Community Frameworks offers project concept development, property acquisition, feasibility analysis and construction management solutions. It administers the Self-Help Homeownership Opportunity program, which provides zero-interest loans to nonprofit and public agencies. The company also offers technical assistance, rental property management, and business and strategic planning services. Community Frameworks projects include Dishman Commons and SafePlace.
