Spokane Fire Department consists of 14 fire stations, staffed by more than 300 firefighters. Located in Spokane, Wash., the department provides emergency medical and mitigation services. It also specializes in blood-pressure screening as well as on-duty fire and life safety presentation within the community. Spokane Fire Department offers a fire-stoppers assessment and intervention program for children under the age of 13. Its fire prevention division is responsible for fire inspection, investigation and building construction development review.
