Operational since 1969, Spokane Cardiology is a health care center that specializes in a range of cardiovascular services. With several locations throughout Idaho and Washington, the center maintains a staff of more than 20 physicians. It specializes in the areas of internal medicine, echocardiography, cardiac electrophysiology and nuclear cardiology. Spokane Cardiology offers acute cardiac care, general consultation and diagnostic services for its patients. The center additionally performs carotid, peripheral and renal angiographies. It operates Northwest Cardiovascular Research Institute (NCRI), which assists physicians in accessing heart and vascular research protocols. Spokane Cardiology also manages an aortic center and provides exercise treadmill programs for observing heart and rhythm response to stress.
