  Psoriatic Arthritis: In addition to inflamed, scaly skin, psoriatic arthritis causes pitted, discolored nails and the swollen, painful joints that are typical of arthritis. It can also lead to inflammatory eye conditions such as conjunctivitis. Symptoms range from mild to severe. Although the disease usually isn’t as crippling as other forms of arthritis, it can cause stiffness and progressive joint damage that in the most serious cases may lead to permanent deformity.

  Removal methods include cryotherapy, shave biopsy, laser surgery, curettage, and cautery. Regardless of the technique used, however, the results are permanent — after removal, a new growth will not reform in its place. The skin may appear a bit lighter temporarily, but should gradually return to its natural tone.

  Pustular Psoriasis: This rare form of psoriasis can occur in widespread patches (generalized pustular psoriasis) or in smaller areas on your hands, feet or fingertips. It generally develops quickly, with pus-filled blisters appearing just hours after your skin becomes red and tender. The blisters dry within a day or two but may reappear every few days or weeks. Generalized pustular psoriasis can also cause fever, chills, severe itching, weight loss and fatigue.

• Scar Revision
  Downtime is minimal with most side effects disappearing within ten days. Only one treatment is needed for most skin concerns like skin resurfacing. Acne scarring and scar revision may need up to three sessions.

• Skin Cancer
  Age spots are also known as sun spots, liver spots, or solar lentigines. They are small, flat, brown spots on the skin that begin to appear later in life on sun-exposed areas. They are particularly common on the face, neck, arms, and backs of the hands, usually sparing the knuckles. These age spots are not typically a health concern, but a skin examination by an experienced provider is recommended as these spots can sometimes be similar in appearance to skin cancer.Age spots are thought to be caused by years of sunlight exposure. The sun damages the pigment-producing cells in the skin (melanocytes), causing them to over-produce pigment in sun-exposed areas. The age spots may increase in size over time and sometimes join together to create larger spots. They may also resemble freckles, but are typically darker and have a more consistent color throughout.

  Allergic skin reactions can appear as red, bumpy, and/or itchy skin, and can be irritating, painful and even embarrassing. Two of the most common types of rashes are eczema and hives.

  Athlete’s foot is a common dermatological infection of the feet caused by fungus. The most common symptoms are cracked, flaking, peeling skin between the toes along with redness and itching. You may feel burning or stinging, and there may be blisters, oozing, or crusting. In addition to the toes, the symptoms may also occur on the heels, palms, and between the fingers.

  Seborrheic keratoses are skin growths that appear in adulthood, and although they may be large and grow quickly, they are benign. SKs initially appear as slightly raised, light brown spots and evolve into darker, thicker lesions with rough, warty surfaces.

  Chemical peels work in a similar way to laser resurfacing. They remove the outer layers of skin, revealing fresh skin underneath. This method also leaves skin looking more homogenous and feeling smoother.
