Owen County State Bank has four full-service locations and six automated teller machines in Spencer, Gosport and Bloomington Indiana. The bank offers a variety of personal and business banking solutions, such as checking, savings and money market accounts, certificates of deposit and online banking, as well as lending services, including home mortgages, consumer loans and business loans. The bank was organized in 1922 as a private bank under the name Citizens Bank of Freedom. In 1933, it was reorganized and chartered as a state bank, and the name was changed to Owen County State Bank.
