The Castle in Spartanburg is awesome! They made my wedding perfect. Those girls are THE BEST!

I dont know what that guest above is talking about!! The Castle has been in business for a long time and they are known for their GREAT service. Yeah they dont do refunds, but what formal wear shop does? None that Ive ever been to!! I have bought several dresses there including my wedding gown and my daughters' prom dresses and have never ever had a problem. If there were a problem the girls there would be more than willing to fix any situation because I have seen them do it!! I hate it when people want to ruin someones business by putting negative comments on the internet. Those girls are precious and work very hard to make Spartanburg proud. I highly recommend them.

Be careful when buying from this shop. Some of the sales personnel are not knowledgeable about materials or fitting. However, they may say things that are not true just to make a sale! THEY TAKE NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES FOR ANY REASON!!!! So, once you've made a purchase, you're stuck! If walk out the door and find a lipstick stain on the dress, too bad! They seemed to have quite a few young girls working there that are clueless about alterations, and proper fitting. Example: Myself: "Do these dresses run true to size?" Salesperson: "Yea, pretty much. uh, What does that mean anyway? A couple of people have asked me that." Just be sure that you double check the dress size whenever they put it in the bag. They make you sign papers declaring that they are not negligent in any way, shape, or form. So, just beware. Look the dress over and over and over. You better LOVE it. Once it goes out the door, it's yours forever, missing sequins, stains, broken zippers and all.
