Saturday morning and our 5 yr old cat had been vomiting for a day and a half. We called the Smith Animal Hospital which we had never been to because we had recently moved to the area. They said to bring her right in. Dr Carlisle saw her right away, did a thorough exam and xray. He said she had probably swallowed a string or thread or yarn and he'd need to do surgery. After surgery he called to say she had gone through it well and he removed the very long string or thread. This was today, he promised to call tomorrow to let us know how she is and then Monday when she's ready to come home. We are very pleased with this doctor and the compassion and concern he showed for our Roxie. Highly recommend!
