Provided by YP.comI sent a detailed summary (certified letter) of my unwelcomed experiences to the Best Buy EVP, Chief Customer Officer and the Best Buy Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer and have heard nothing since receiving confirmation of delivery of my certified letter( ~30 days). I was unable to accomplish much at the store level and unable to persuade the store manager to return my phone call (3) or have anyone at the store give me the contact information for a regional manager. To clarify, the three (3) unreturned phone calls are the last three attempts.
I recently purchased two services from the Best Buy Geek Squad (Spartanburg, SC). They completed one service but could not complete the second service, leaving me a damaged wall. They apologized for the incompletion and advised that they would be putting in a claim to their insurance company to repair the wall. At that point in time, I was not upset. The inconsistencies, the ineptness, and the contradictory statements and excuses over the next 60 days were more than anyone could handle. I finally received a check ~60 days later, but at what expense to me and Best Buy? Obviously, they are tone deft to customer feedback, from top to bottom.
Best Buy is the first place I go when I need or want movies, cameras, music or other technological equipment. The store is perfectly organized and the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable about the products they are selling. Although cheaper products of the same nature can be found at other stores, I always come to Best Buy because I trust the quality and expect to receive honest opinions about what I am looking for.
