Dawson Middle School has an enrollment of more than 700 students in grades seven through eight and is operated by the Carroll Independent School District. Its art department offers classes in 2-D and 3-D art, drawing, painting, printmaking and ceramics. The athletic department of the school provides a range of activities that include football, volleyball, tennis, basketball, cross country and track. Dawson Middle School s academic programs include classes in math, physic, biology, computer science, geography and world history. The school provides homebound instruction and vocational classes and offers speech therapy for disabled students. Dawson Middle School provides food services for students and is located in Grapevine, Texas.
