  Visiting Dixon Family Dental twice a year provides an excellent foundation for achieving and maintaining great dental health. Each visit includes a professional examination and dental cleaning. You can also expect an oral cancer screening and digital X-rays once a year.

Preventive

• Teeth Cleaning
  Are fundamental for maintaining great oral health and a beautiful smile. Once every six months, our talented dental hygienists will give you a thorough teeth cleaning to rid your mouth of any built-up plaque and tartar. We’ll also check your teeth, gums, and cheeks for any signs of underlying oral health conditions. If we detect signs of disease, Dr. Daniels-Dixon will create a customized treatment plan and keep you informed every step of the way.
• Fluoride Treatment
  Are an additional way to protect your teeth against bacteria and decay. These treatments work by remineralizing your tooth’s enamel that’s been broken down by plaque buildup over time. Our fluoride treatments are a highly concentrated solution that’s applied with a swab, tray, or mouthwash at the end of your routine tooth cleaning.

  Can help protect their teeth from unwanted bacteria. Dental sealants are applied to the back molars, creating a protective barrier between the teeth and bacteria to prevent tooth decay. While we typically recommend sealants for children, they can be a great preventive measure for patients of any age.

Her education continued with a two-year General Practice Residency she completed through the University of Detroit/Detroit Receiving Hospital. She’s also a certified Invisalign Diamond provider.
