• X-rays
  Dental X-rays have come a long way. Todays dental X-rays are safer, faster, more comfortable and more informative than the X-rays of years past. Digital X-rays, one of the latest and most advanced dental technologies, produce high-quality images of your teeth that can be viewed instantly by you and your dentist on a LCD monitor. Digital X-rays reduce radiation by up to 90% and provide exceptional diagnostic information to ensure that potential problems are caught in their earliest stages. Intraoral photography is another alternative to traditional dental X-rays. With intraoral photography, problems such as cavities, fractures and discolorations in the teeth are captured through clear and sharp photographic images that are taken with a 35mm or digital camera.
• Oral Cancer Screening
  Oral cancer affects nearly 35,000 Americans every year. The keys to surviving oral cancer are early detection and early treatment. This starts with a regular oral cancer screening – at least once every six months. An oral cancer screening takes just minutes, is pain-free and can be performed during regular dental exams. The good news? Early diagnosis can have a dramatic impact on recovery rates – even more than in other types of cancer. Recovery rates for oral cancer can reach up to 90 percent among cases that are detected early. Which means that a twice a year check up can really make a difference to your long term health and well being.

  Dr. Yoon is a trained Prosthodontist. He completed his specialty training in Prosthodontics and his general studies at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Yoon graduated with Honors and is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental honor society. He has extensive experience with full mouth implant restorations, implant supported overdentures, complex rehabilitation of crown and bridge, cosmetic smile makeovers and has special interest in removable prosthetics. Dr. Yoon is the recipient of many awards such as Pre-Doctoral Achievement Award from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Waterpik Corp Best of the Best Award of Excellence in Prosthodontics, Eugene Rothchild Memorial Award for Excellence in the area of Fixed Prosthodontics, Columbia CDM Prosthodontics Award, and Special Award of Appreciation from the Graduate Prosthodontics Division in Columbia CDM. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
