Provided by YP.comThe food here is excellent. The fried oyster appetizer is my favorite. I don't know any other restaurant around that has a leg of lamb like they do. I was there last Friday and had a lobster roll that was cooked perfectly and had plenty of meat. I recommend this place to everyone.

Provided by YPmobileVery disappointed in the menu selection. Fins and tales suggest to me, a seafood resturant...very little seafood selections. Can get oysters, and fish out of a frozen box that has less breading and more taste. Atmosphere was the only thing that saved this from being a 1 star rating. We will not be going back.

Provided by YPmobileWhile driving back to Webster from the Brimfield Fair on 9/5/2012, my mother, uncle and I were hungry and outta the corner of my eye, I noticed a "little" sign in front of an old, redone late 1800's brick building, that said Special Prime Rib $9.99...who can resist this...Inside it was an old "Mill" beautifully redecorated into a fully stocked bar area and separate dining area, with wonderful colors and ambiance...staff was very pleasant, even had reading glasses cuz my uncle mentioned he forgot his, waitress was knowledgeable of menu items, great homemade soup,a creamy Portuguese sausage and kale soup...delicious...prime rib special, although only served with a choice of potato, was a generous 12 oz portion....you can't buy that at store today, never mind having someone making it to perfection and served to you...So, apparently, it was a lucky day for us, cuz this prime rib special, is a Wednesday special.....BTW...my uncle had the fried scallop dinner and he was very pleased...lots of scallops were piled on his plate....

Provided by YP.comthis was my firist visit here and i was so surpised at how nice the interior was,the service was great and cheery, the staff was right on top off things, the owner came out to talk with me which i liked. the food here is super, i had the clam chodder and it couldn,t have been better if i was on the coast. for my meal i had the fish and chips, the fish was light and flacky and very moist. i would say that this is one of the best resturaunts around. the prices where very resonable. any one close should visit it you will truely be surprised at how great it is.

Visited 3 times already. Excellent food!! Very good prices. Where do you get desert for $4?
We ate at Fins and Tales Restaurant in Southbridge on an extremely cold day and were immediately greeted by the warmth of the restaurant's staff and surroundings! The food was excellent and the menu was varied enough so everyone in our party of 8 could easily find something they liked. The bar, we were told, was handmade by a local craftsman and was really a showpiece of the bar side of the restaurant. The restaurant portion of the building was very cozy and quiet so it was easy to talk from one end of the table to the other. Loved the fish dinners but for all of us, everything we ordered was well prepared and hot out of the kitchen. We'll be going back there again!

Provided by YP.comNew place just opened down the street from my house. I had high expectations because I would prefer not to drive to Auburn or Worcester to get a steak. Walk in right about opening time and was pleased to see such nice interior decoration. My father got the sea scallops for a starter, he said you could tell that they tasted very fresh. He really enjoyed them. I will will say from an appearence point of view the scallops themselves looked very good but there looked to be a little too much sauce and too much peperika sprinkles around the plate. For main course I got the 10oz bone-in fillet and was very impressed; also with the mashed potatoes and ratatoulli, which was the vegi of the day. However, like the sea scallops too much sauce and peperika. My father for the hanger steak with mashed and ratatoulli, also very impressive. Priced very well and service was good. If you don't try it, you will be missing out. I will be back!
