General Info

After working in the music industry and radio for ten years I decided to switch careers to a field of helping others. I graduated cum laude from Stony Brook University in 2013 with a Bachelors of Health Science and Masters in occupational therapy. I knew in my first year of Stony Brook that I wanted to specialize in hand therapy. I started my career in skilled nursing. A year later, I was presented with an opportunity to work in hands and I gladly accepted the position. However I have continued to work per diem in skilled nursing for the past 8 years. As a CHT I'm often consulted to assist the geriatric population with various hand diagnoses and asked to fabricate custom splints. I have worked in the Southampton location for the past six years and have developed a strong relationship with locals doctors and members of the community. I love working in a tight knit community that has been so welcoming. After joining Professional I was asked to help start other hand clinic locations such as Sayville and Copiague. I'm a member of ASHT, AOTA, and WFOT. Currently I reside in Sayville. I love to kayak, bike, and spend time outdoors. Travel is my passion and I look forward to combine my love of travel and hand therapy volunteering with organizations such as the Touching Hands Project.
