Red Lion Station is a part of Troop C, which serves the residents of Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth and Burlington counties in New Jersey. Troop C, a part of the Field Operations Section, is also responsible for maintaining nuclear generating plant in Ocean County in New Jersey. The Field Operations Section is governed by New Jersey State Police. The section administers an operations safety bureau that explores and develops new traffic safety programs. The operations safety bureau also coordinates and monitors crash training courses for police officers in the New Jersey. In addition, it offers investigative and victim support services.
