General Info

Christina was born and raised on Cape Cod. She attended BU for undergraduate and graduate school where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Health Science in 2016 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019. Christina grew up as a competitive gymnast beginning at a young age and competing through college. Unfortunately, her gymnastics career was interrupted by injuries, having ACL reconstruction surgery in 2009 and ankle reconstruction surgery in 2011. It was through rehabbing her knee that she found her love for physical therapy. While in PT school, Christina did a clinical rotation at Professional Physical Therapy in South Yarmouth and learned about all that the company had to offer. During her first year working she completed the level 1 Orthopedic Manual Therapy program with Martin Langaas. Through the program she learned advanced manual therapy skilled and worked with many different orthopedic diagnoses. Christina will be starting a one year FAAOMPT program starting in September. Christina is also a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Now that she has moved back to Cape Cod, Christina has found her love for sailing. She participates in many races throughout the summer. And, as a former gymnast, she has also discovered her interest in CrossFit. During her time with Professional Physical Therapy she has treated many gymnasts, sailors and CrossFit athletes. Her personal experience, education, and training, give her a unique insight into the special rehabilitative needs of dancers, gymnasts, CrossFit athletes and athletes at all levels.
