Not child friendly, RUDE owner and staff! Here is a restaurant that has tried to change their ambiance and keep up with all of the new upscale restaurants and has lost complete sight of why people went their in the first place. We have been dining at the Mill for over 25 years at least twice a month, and had my daughters wedding there. Seen servers, managers, and the homely feeling all come and go. A new fancy bar, retro dining room, and sky high prices for mediocure service (at best) have taken over. I took my daughter and son in law in for dinner with my 2 grandchildren and immediately were not welcomed with open arms as soon as they saw the children. After ordering drinks and finding out they had no glasses suitable for children and the attitude recieved by the staff, my family left. I waited to pay for my wine, gave the waitress $20 and waited for change. When she came back she gave me the money and then informed me that children were not welcome here and that they don't "cater" to them. I was so angry I left immediately, left my jacket, and put the money in my pocket. When I had gotten out of the car I counted the money in my pocket to realize she had given the wrong change, I called to let them know about the money and jacket. I went back and the owner was not there and I was then called a liar, refused my change that was 8 dollars short and told that they only believe their staff. Well here is a huge family that will never go back, will not take clients, have dinner meetings or special events again. They have lost sight of why people go their and the owner has let all of this upscaling go to his head.
