Eli Terry Elementary School, located in South Windsor, Conn., is affiliated with the South Windsor School District. The school offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to more than 500 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It enrolls students from diverse social, economic and ethnic groups. Eli Terry Elementary School offers various programs, including English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. The school implements the South Windsor Pre-School Outreach program. It provides several student committees, such as flag attendants, safety patrol, school ambassador, peer mediators, student council and peer support groups. Eli Terry Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development, by enhancing communication between home and school.
