The Newton School serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school has a media center, computer laboratory, gymnasium, science laboratory and several classrooms. Its staff includes an academic coordinator, custodians and paraprofessionals. The Newton School offers a range of reading, music, special education, and gifted and talented programs. It also operates a library and media center that houses e-books, books and audiocassettes. The school conducts classes in health and physical education. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including student council, chorus, flag and recycling teams, and walking, drama and beta clubs. Located in South Strafford, Vt., The Newton School is a part of the Strafford Town School District.
