Founded in 1952, San Mateo Credit Union has grown over the years to keep pace with the evolving financial needs of our member-owners. Since we first opened our doors, each year has marked a growth in assets and an expansion of our member-owner base-currently more than $600 million and 68, 000, respectively-which is a clear indication of SMCU's vibrant financial health and operational strength. We welcome any individual who lives, works, or attends school in San Mateo County.
