John E. Riley School is a learning center that offers a variety of educational opportunities to students in kindergarten through grade four. It provides classes in music, art, computer and Spanish language. The school administers the English as a Second Language program. John E. Riley School also offers speech therapy, nursing, counseling and skills development services. It features a cafeteria and gymnasium. The school provides cheeseburgers, chicken patties, macaroni, sandwiches, rolls and pizzas for lunch. John E. Riley School administers the Character Counts program, which offers education in leadership skills. Additionally, it maintains a library that offers a collection of Internet resources, books and magazines. Located in South Plainfield, N.J., the school is a part of South Plainfield Public Schools.
