Founded in 1948, WSOU is a noncommercial, student-run radio station operated from the campus of Seton Hall University in South Orange, N.J. The station airs rock music, news reports, community programming and sports updates. Its programs include Club Sessions, Campus Buzz, Punk University, Under the Stars, Vintage 80 s, No Man s Land, Street Patrol and Out of Babylon. WSOU provides students with career opportunities in the areas of on-air hosting, production, promotion, newscasting, sportscasting, programming, sales, marketing and engineering.
