Dr. Nielsen provides the primary care for my two teenaged daughters, one of which has a chronic life-altering illness. At every visit, Dr. Nielsen takes the time to ask my girls how things are going and is genuinely interested in in what they have to share. His exams are thorough and never rushed. Dr. Nielsen is amazing because he treats my girls equally. My youngest's medical needs are just as important to him as those of her chronically ill sister (which is as it should be). Dr. Nielsen has been pivotal in helping us find caring, quality specialists to help with the treatment of my older daughter. He works with these specialists to ensure that she receives the best care possible. Our experiences with Dr. Nielsen have always been positive ones. I would highly recommend him to others looking to find an outstanding pediatrician.
