He used his position to completely violate my trust. He uses empathy and compassion to draw people in and make them think he cares. But, in my experience he was a complete phony. After years of thinking he cared, I found out the hard way that it was an act. He should not even have a counseling license after his poor boundaries, deceptive practices, and the damage he has caused.
