Its illegal to ask a breastfeeding mother to cover up and that's the issue here. We shouldn't have to worry about being asked to "cover up" or "please do that somewhere else." How is it fair that a mother can formula feed her child anywhere she wants or time that baby is hungry but a breastfeeding mother doesn't deserve that same courtesy? It comes down to comfort. Some mothers are comfortable wearing a cover, some are not. The principal here is that we deserve THE CHOICE without anyone's opinion, regulations, or big mouth influencing our decision of what is most comfortable.

Business owner apparently believes she is above the law and can ask nursing mothers to either cover up or go somewhere else to feed their children. Breasts are for feeding babies. If your other patrons are "uncomfortable" with a mother feeding her child, then maybe you should keep a stack of complimentary blankets available so they can cover their heads with it...that way, they won't have to see me.

Shaming moms doesn't exactly fit my description of a family friendly establishment. Imposing illegal policies against nursing mothers and their children is a very low move.
