Jill McDougall is a physical therapist at the University of Vermont Medical Center. She specializes in orthopedics, pediatrics, sports rehabilitation, and spine rehabilitation. She treats patients with musculoskeletal pain, total joint replacement, torticoliis (twisted neck), plagiocephaly (commonly known as flat head), sports/orthopedic injury, after-surgery care and neurologic movement disorders, diseases, and injuries. Jill specializes in treatments such as manual therapy, therapeutic taping, orthotic exam and prescriptions, prenatal/postpartum exercise and McKenzie Mechanical diagnosis and therapy, an internationally acclaimed method of treating spinal and extremity pain.Jill’s research interests include total joint replacement outcomes.Jill enjoys collaborating closely with physicians, athletic trainers, nurses, and a highly skilled and experienced team of physical therapists, to help her patients get stronger, become healthier, feel better, and get back to doing the things they love. She takes pride in developing long-term relationships with her patients and spending as much time with each patient as is needed to help them heal.
