Chelsea Witt is an occupational therapist at the University of Vermont Medical Center. She works with patients on falls/balance and hand rehabilitation. She specializes in custom splinting, and the BTE (Baltimore Therapeutic Equipment) work simulator, a machine designed to replicate real world job and daily functions. Chelsea treats patients for musculoskeletal pain and after-surgery care. Her research interests include quality improvement documentation and outcome measures. Chelsea has worked in various settings throughout her career. She believes her experience allows her to see the "big picture" of rehabilitation, promoting creative treatment planning with a holistic approach. She finds each success story rewarding, from learning to feed oneself to returning to work. She prides herself on offering a positive experience for her patients, allowing them the opportunity to improve with their upper extremity function and return to all of their previous roles and occupations.
