I stayed here when this was the Ramada, and although the renovations to the rooms are an improvement, the amenities are still lacking. The so called "linen service" that you receive is horrible. I've never been to prison, but I imagine that after they hose you off and give you a cavity search, they hand you a towel similar to the ones that Waterford Estates expects you to shower with. There is no water pressure, which makes it impossible to take a good shower. And there is no closet space - so if you are staying longer than a football weekend, you are in trouble. The food was only "just okay," and nothing special. The hallways are suffocatingly hot and the beds not very comfortable. In the end, the only thing that they have done here is put a dress on a pig to try to fool you - and shame on you if you're fooled! At $150 per night to stay, or $100K to buy - you're better off at an upscale chain hotel down the highway - and leaving a few minutes early to drive to Notre Dame!
