It utilizes The Factory Link, which is a computerized control system that monitors its processes. The division provides custom and standard sheet-molding compound formulations and technical support for high-strength structural applications that require low-density and light-weight parts. Interplastic's Molding Products Division handles material development and design, as well as specializes in merchant sales. It is a part of Interplastic Corporation, which is a specialty chemical company and is one of the leading thermoset resin, gel coat and colorant research, design and development companies in the United States.
