Owners of Mountainview Estates in Owingsville Ky. Have been Notified by Tenants of the recent reinfestation of Bed Bugs at the location in Owingsville. A year ago the entire complex was infected and now 7 tenants in a month and half have complained to Deanna Roberson (property manager) Yes they were sprayed for bed bugs at the complexes expense however neither of the apartments on either side of infected apartments were sprayed nor the row of apartments of which the bugs are in and because of this NON action on the property management the Bed Bugs Keep Returning. Debbie (head of cherrokee property management) in Sommerset Ky. Has been notified of the situation as of 3/23/15 to no avail. The Bath County Health Dept. was also notified and refused to fill out a report or take action upon tenants request for help. Bed bugs are a serious (health) problem as well as expensive to the tenant furniture such as cloth couches , beds, clothing, curtains all have to be removed and possibly destroyed at the tenants expense (as you may be thinking to yourself only filthy people get bed bugs I must tell you that is not true anyone can get bed bugs). The complex will NOT reimburse the tenant although in most cases the bugs are spread from one apartment to another by the very act of spraying just the infested apartment. This complex was and still is invested with bed bugs so if you are planning on living there do yourself a favor and ask questions Do NOT Take Deanna Robersons or Teresa Harts Word ask tenants next door or in adjacent apartments before moving in. It could cost you hundreds of dollars if you don't.
