The Egg Harbor Township Public Works Department operates roads, sanitation, vehicle maintenance, and buildings and grounds divisions. It offers pavement and street sign maintenance and repair, tree trimming, street sweeping and loose leaf collection services for more than 300 miles of municipal streets. The department is also responsible for the removal of residential trash, tires, metals, vegetative debris, and sanitary solid and bulky wastes. The Egg Harbor Township Public Works Department additionally maintains and repairs vehicles and equipment owned by the township. The department provides maintenance services for buildings, grounds, athletic fields and parks. It offers snow plowing services and opens streets for emergency vehicles, drainage and safe traffic flow during winters.
