      General Info

      A Wandering Moose is a lodge and cabins in Soldotna, Alaska located on the banks of the Kenai River and surrounded by the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. Just a few steps from your private cabin allow you to fish away from the crowds for Salmon as well as Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden. For your convenience, we provide a fish-cleaning table on the dock along with a processing area and freezer space to store your catch until time to leave. There is also a laundry area with washers and dryers for your use.

      Amenities
      Here at A Wandering Moose you can fish in solitude just steps from your cabin. There are two firepits for your enjoyment as well as grills at each cabin. There is a common area with TV/DVD/SAT as well as a computer to check your email or send photos home! Free WiFi is available to those who bring their own laptops. The Common area is a place to gather first thing in the morning for coffee and to share your stories or plans for the day.
