Dunlap Industries, Inc. was born in 1966. In it's initial stages, Dunlap manufactured metal zippers. We introduced synthetic zippers into the marketplace in the late 1970's. Our 1993 merger with U.S. Thread brought our most recent product line ...thread. In addition, we offer hook and loop fasteners, as well as other associated trim items such as tapes, webbings, elastic and plastic hardware. Our manufacturing operations are now vertically integrated to include metal rolling, twisting, winding, weaving and dyeing. Two facilities are located in Dunlap, Tennessee and the third, U.S. Thread, is located in Graysville, Tennessee. Our Chattanooga and Graysville sales offices, in conjunction with our nationwide distribution network, service numerous U.S. and International markets. Our sales and management team averages over 25 years in the industry. For over four decades, Dunlap Industries has been on one the largest employers in the Sequatchie Valley.
