Abbey Hospice cared for my mother Alice Williams until her death on Nov 7, 2013 they were so patient with me during her illness. They always gave her excellent care at the unit and in our home and fulfilled all my request. I will always be grateful to the staff for their help and support, also a special thank you to the bereavement coordinator for all the help during my time of bereavement

MY NAME IS THOMAS KREIGH. I LOST MY WIFE KAREN OF 18 YEARS IN FEB. I WAS THERE WHEN SHE DIED. I WENT INTO SHOCK AND AM STILL IN SHOCK. I MET CALLIE WEBBER AND JENNIFER AT A GRIEF SUPPORT MEETING IN MONROE GA. THEY WERE BOTH FANTASTICS. I LIKED CALLIE A LITTLE MORE BUT BOTH WERE THERE FOR ME AND HELPED ME GET THROUGH A LOT OF PAIN. IM STILL GRIEVING AND STILL CRY A LOT BUT THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THERE FOR ME. IM STILL IN SHOCK AND OUT OF WORK FOR 23 MONTHS BUT GOD DONT WANT ME YET BECAUSE IM STILL BREATHING. I TRULY WISH I WOULD DIE AND WAKE UP IN HEAVEN WITH JESUS BY MY SIDE AND MY WIFE ON MY OTHER SIDE. SHE WAS MY LIFE AND MY BEST FRIEND. I WILL NEVER REMARRY.AND PROBABLY WILL NEVER BE HAPPY AGAIN. I LOST A VERY SINCERE PERSON. ANY WAY CALLIE AND JENNIFER ARE TOPS IN MY BOOKS. IF YOU GET THIS MESSAGE CALL 49 AND LEAVE A MESSAGE TO LET ME KNOW YOU GOT IT. IM NOT DOING WELL. IM STILL IN A LOT OF PAIN AND A M STILL IN A DIFFERENT WORLD THAN MOST PEOPLE. T

My mother was at the Abbey Hospice three different times during her bout with breast cancer. These people are the most compassionate, loving staff I have ever come across. They treat all they patients with respect and love as they did my mother. When mother passed away there this week, we were so glad she was somewhere she was comfortable and happy during her last hours;. Thank you Abbey Hospice.
