I AM excited to finally BE living in the valley! MY Family and I have been vacationing in ASPEN and Snowmass for a number of years. We always dreamed of living and raising OUR TWO boys here. We love the proximity to nature and HOW this community values healthy living. In october of 2014. We were finally able to make OUR dream a reality. For the past nine years I have been a pilates instructor AT ESSEX pilates and yoga (NOW ESSEX pilates & wellness) in ESSEX. Connecticut. The first eight of which I owned the business and was the head instructor. From what began AS a sole operator providing private pilates lessons and group MAT classes. I built the business to a SIX instructor strong. Fully comprehensive pilates studio offering group pilates reformer. Tower. Jump board. Pilates on the ball. TRX. KETTLEBELL. Functional interval training. Yoga. And ZUMBA CLASSES. PREVIOUS to owning MY OWN pilates studio. I worked AS a personal trainer and pilates instructor in Chapel hill. NC and NEW York city. Over the years I have obtained certifications through stott pilates. The pilates method Alliance. Power pilates. The melt method. Total Barre. ACE (the american council on exercise). And ACSM (the american college of sports medicine). I continue to maintain full stott and pilates method Alliance certifications. In 1995 I started VJT fitness in NEW York city and began IN-HOME personal training. I’M looking forward to getting back to those roots here in the valley. I enjoy developing personal relationships with MY clients. And then creating workouts that help them to lead healthier. More productive lives. Exercise should feel good. For ME.
