Dr. Donald Patterson is a recipient of the Harold Sterling Scholarship and received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University. He attended medical school at the University of Alabama and completed his internal residency at the University of Tennessee. He is board-certified in internal medicine and has proudly served patients in Rutherford County for more than 10 years.According to Dr. Patterson, "patients are what keeps me going". He enjoys meeting new people and building relationships with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Originally from Florence, Alabama, Dr. Patterson enjoys problem solving, diagnostic challenges and working as a team toward a common goal.
