The Division of Community Mental Hygiene Services is responsible for the coordination and oversight of various programs for individuals with mental and developmental disabilities. It is administered by Suffolk County Government in New York. The division offers a range of rehabilitative services for people with alcohol addiction and substance abuse problems. The Division of Community Mental Hygiene Services provides several types of educational programs to increase the awareness of chemical dependency. It also offers methadone maintenance treatment programs in Huntington, Riverhead and Hauppauge areas in New York. In addition, the division provides case management and assisted outpatient treatment solutions for adults.
