Smiths Station Elementary School, founded in 1996, offers academic programs to more than 700 students in prekindergarten through three. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as fine arts, physical education, English, mathematics, computer technology, social studies and foreign languages. The school offers a wide range of services, including physical counseling and transportation. The sports activities provided by the school include football, soccer, basketball, hockey, badminton, tumbling, bowling and softball. The school also offers a variety of extracurricular activities that include juggling, Frisbee, tag games, handball, strength training, roller racers, hula hoops, relays and canoeing. The school is a part of the Lee County Schools and is located in Smiths Station, Ala.
