I use to go in with my grandson every week. We repeatedly witnessed the rude and sullen behavior of the employees to customers. My five year old grandson asked me on two separate occassions if they were "just a little rude?". I agreed and then decided there are a lot of subways in Slidell (five come to mind quickly). The town is about 9 square miles. I'll drive a mile or two to another one for a more pleasant lunch experience and a lesson for my little grandson... We don't reward rude behavior. They have forgotten that the reason they have jobs are the customers. In fairness, there were occassionally two or three young women who smiled and acted courteous. They just weren't there often enough to compensate for the others. We still enjoy the sandwiches and salads. We just enjoy them elsewhere!
