I found Dr Mangat in Bogalusa, La., as the medical director at Magnolia Behavioral Healthcare which also has a clinic on Tuesday and Thursday. Dr. Mangat is very knowledgeable, and explained to me why I feel the way I do and how the medications work. He explained the side effects I should watch for and when to call. His staff is helpful and nice. When I call I always get the help I need.While I sat in the lobby awaiting my appointment the other patients were all talking about Dr Mangat and I thought this would be a good time to see how others felt about him, nothing but good was said. None the less I was surprised of the high regard all the other patients had for him. I would recommend him to my friends.

I used Dr. Mangat in the past when I was in the hospital. I did follow up with him as my doctor only because he was the only psychiatrist I knew.When I would mention him to people that I work with they all agreed that he was a compassionate doctor that they would recommend. Some worked with him in the hospital and knew the kind of work he does. If a nurse recommends a doctor that they know, he has to be good.

I have used Dr. Mangat. I would recommend to him to anybody that asks. A very very compassionate doctor. The world needs more of his kind. I heard about Dr. Mangat from my mother in law, since she liked him I knew I would.

I love Dr. Mangat. He is a very knowledgeable and compassionate person. He understands medication and takes the time to explain, rather than just handing a prescription over with orders to make another appointment. He takes his time to explain the nessersity of tests he has ordered, the reason he ordered one mediction over another and any side affects that I may have and when to worry about them. I thought I had lost him as my doctor after Katrina but, I was lucky. Dr. Mangat is now located in Bogalusa La, at Magnolia Behavioral Healthcare.
