      General Info

      Robert O. Appleton, Jr. (Bob) received his B.A. degree from Stanford University in 1967. He received his J.D. degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1970. Bob began his legal career at Dinkelspiel & Dinkelspiel, in his native state of California. He then moved to St. Louis, Missouri in 1973, where after practicing with several law firms in various areas of the law, he formed APPLETON POHLE. Bob=s law practice is varied, but includes the areas of Family Law (Divorces, Modifications, Child Support, Custody and Collaborative Dissolution Practice, etc.), Litigation, Corporate Transactions, Real Estate Law, Employment Law and Arbitration. Bob is licensed to practice law in Missouri and California (inactive status). Carl C. Pohle received his B.A. degree from the University of Michigan in 1983. He received his J.D. degree from the Saint Louis University School of Law in 1986. Carl, a native of St. Louis, began his legal career at Evans & Dixon. After leaving Evans & Dixon in 1994, Carl practiced law with various law firms, until forming APPLETON POHLE with Bob. Carl focuses his law practice primarily on Estate Planning (Wills, Trusts, General Durable Powers of Attorney (for financial matters), Durable Powers of Attorney for Health Care and Living Wills) Probate and Trust Administration, as well as Small Business Formation and Support. Carl is licensed to practice law in Missouri as well as in Illinois.
